   What does a staff member do?
  • Help patrons with genealogical research, temple ready, etc

   What skills are needed?

  • Ability to learn the family history computer programs, find and use library materials, and assist patrons in using the facilities of the library.

   Familysearch Indexing Volunteer
  • Volunteers extract family history information from digital images of historical documents to create searchable indexes that assist everyone in finding their ancestors.  If you would like to learn more about this project go to familysearchindexing.org
 

   Church Service Support Mission serving part-time

 

   What does a family history missionary do?

  • Provides e-mail and phone support for people around the world

  • Helps test new products and services

  • Participates in special projects

   What skills are needed?

  • Desire to help others

  • Ability to communicate well

  • Good working knowledge of PCs, including e-mail and Internet

  • Prior experience with family history products (FamilySearch, IGI, PAF, and TempleReady)

   Are there any other requirements?

  • Home PC with Windows XP and a high-speed Internet connection (dsl or cable)

  • Availability between 8:00 A.M. and 9 P.M. (4-hour blocks for at least 8 hours a week)
